How have I not written this review yet? Taren Kinebrew's small storefront is a must-visit. Sweet Petit desserts is a bakery with the concept of small bite-sized desserts so you can satisfy your sweet tooth without all the guilt. My weak sense of self-control tests me here. It's all fun and games sampling desserts until you've eaten 8 bite-size treats in a row.When Taren recommended the brownies, I followed her lead and took some home. They look like normal unassuming brownies. What I didn't expect was how soft and gooey and chocolatey they would be. I could have had ten of these without batting an eye. The Junior Baking Series totally rocks! My daughters participated and loved everything about it! They learned a lot about baking, enjoyed some sweet treats and as a bonus finished the class with a cool mixer and apron. I'm sure my daughters will continue the baking magic they learned at home. If I could I would give them six stars. I ate my cake pop before my brothers finished their cupcakes.  I had a vanilla cakepop with sprinkles.  My Gramps had a lemon cupcake and it was to die for.  My brothers had cupcakes and loved them.   Now I will move on to my dad.  He thinks I should give it 4.5 stars because of the cost per portion.  Silly dad.  It was perfect for me. Not being able to stand the thought of having wasted slices of cake at my wedding, I knew mini desserts were the way to go. There were some places that had some mini cupcakes or mini brownies, but Sweet Petit Desserts had an assortment of mini desserts that were all equally delicious. I went to visit the Sweet Petit Desserts, and met Taren who is the kindest person! She took the time to walk me through what she had, how she made her desserts and answered all of my questions in detail. She was honest with me about how many I needed and didn't try to up-sell or oversell me on anything. She let me try an assortment of desserts - mini brownies, lemon bars, cake pops, and multiple flavors of mini cupcakes. Every single thing I tried was exquisite. Her brownies were a crowd favorite! One other perk that completely sold me on Sweet Petit Desserts was having a mini cake for my husband and me to cut. She made us a very simple cake that fit our theme and was delicious along with her other desserts! Taren is the best and her desserts are reasonably priced! So this place is AMAZING  I make sure to grab something whenever I have a chance( even grabbing her cake pops sold at the cafe next door to Nordstrom's in Kenwood Mall). My favorites in order are the cake pops, their the perfect consistency it's so delicious. Next would be their brownies, red velvet cookies, key lime squares... you catch my drift? She knows what she's doing I promise you you try this you'll stay a loyal customer, the desserts are sweet but so is the staff. Washington Parks right at the corner so prime location for a day out. Oh Yes!!! Sweet Petit, What a Treat! On Race Street! It's Excellent and Elite! I tried a few of the Sweet Petit Desserts last week and they were fabulous, tasty, creamy, bakery fresh and of course very sweet! As you can see from the photos, they are beautiful, bite-size cupcakes and other baked goods made fresh just for the customer!I came to the store to capture the owner on video, so I was aware of her products, but I hadn't had the chance to taste them. After I took some pictures. I had to taste the greatness!!!I Love the vision of this company! Not only do they bake great goods, but they are teaching this skill and craft to kids, with their Junior Baking Series Kids Edition Classes. It's so much here for the community, which is creating a long lasting legacy for the owner, her family and everyone involved! I Love it! I will definitely come back again! For years I've been wanting to visit Sweet Petit. Every time I stopped by, they were closed. Also, My Mr. and I work out at the same gym with the owner's husband. He gave me her card and I've held on to it and kept it in mind.On a Saturday afternoon, my Mr brought it up and wanted to take my mom there. As we entered, who do we see? The owners husband!  He was so down to earth and helpful. Especially with my mom.Loved the simple selections they had in store. Not too overwhelming. I have visited Sweet Petit on a few occasions, and recently used them to cater desserts for a baby shower. Cute dessert shop if you're looking for a small bite after dinner. Their selection is small, but I think that's because most of their business is catering for events. They had cake pops, mini cupcakes (four flavors), creme cookie sandwiches, and heart shaped brownies. I got a oatmeal creme cookie sandwich (similar to a Little Debby oatmeal cream pie but like 10000x better), and my friend got two mini cupcakes ($1.50 each, so $4.50 total). The price was really affordable for what you got, which was a mini homemade dessert, and everything was yummy. They have one table inside to sit at, I think most people take their snacks to go.  I wish they had more options, but overall I would highly recommend Sweet Petit for quality and value! More...

Took my staff to a baking class and we absolutely loved it. I wanted to do something different for our retreat and I wanted it to be fun. Since I love to bake, I asked Taren if we could do something challenging, so we made macarons. This baking experience had us practice communication, patience, risk taking, follow through, following directions and task completion. These are some of the best treats I've had in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Macaroons, oatmeal cookies, mini cupcakes and the OMG the heart shaped mini brownies are the best!
