Dara is kind of a thief. She took my 9 month old out of control Lab puppy and replaced her with a puppy I could hardly recognize as my own, a well behaved puppy that is eager to please and eager to do as I ask of her, truly transformative.
It is such a joy to have a dog that listens to me, on and off leash. If you use her services, (and I can not think of a single reason not to), be prepared to have your dog as you know her to be replaced with a much better, much happier version of herself. Dara so clearly has a deep love for dogs and a deep desire to see us owners fall in love with them all over again. I hardly knew it was possible to love Willow any more than I did when she was a terror but, thanks to this amazing Woman, I do!

I literally can’t say enough about Dara and her training!! She absolutely knows and loves what she is doing and it shows from the start and doesn’t end! It doesn’t end because she is always there to help in anyway needed even after the board and train is complete. I have 3 dogs and I would be lost without her expertise. She has given not only my dogs but also me the tools and knowledge to have a calm and well behaved household!! What do you love most about your job?
My favorite part of being a dog trainer is the transformation that the dog AND owner go through together! It’s such a beautiful thing to witness and be apart of♥️
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because I noticed how many dogs that ended up at shelters were euthanized, and how many of those shelters lacked the resources and knowledge to go their dog’s the help they need! I decided to become a dog trainer to become part of the solution.

Imagine your puppy being an absolute joy to be around, listening to you every time. Not jumping on anyone so you don’t have to be embarrassed to have friends over. Always walking right next to you during walks, instead of dragging you down the street, so you can actually enjoy those walks! Imagine Being able to enjoy off leash walks with your dog in the Granite Dells or the local trails and your dog being able to come when called, every.single.time. This is what we do, yes... even for your dog.
Our board and train is an intense lifestlye program that is designed to deliver the best, long lasting results so that you have less struggle and more time to enjoy your dog in every stage of their life! Not only will your dog master obedience commands but we will also address his or her calmer state of mind so you can have a more relaxed dog.
We believe the best training needs to happen in a home environment with fewer distractions and slowly inching our way closer to more distracting environments. We keep our class sizes small by having no more than 3 dogs in the Academy at one time.Your dog will be fully immersed into our home. Your dog will have access inside of the trainer’s home to practice skills around other dogs, children and many distractions to help their new skills grow strong.

What happens after the program is finished? You will never be left on your own! Prepare for a 2 -3 hour go home lesson where we will teach you everything you need to know to continue success at home. After our initial training is done, we guarantee life long support with Dara!
