We highly recommend using Polestar Design. The project involved updating our 1950s ranch style home to allow for an easy transition to age in place. The renovation included the addition of a garage, moving a laundry/bath up to the first floor, expanding our back deck and updating the kitchen. Chris pays great attention to detail, executes beautiful architectural plans, is an excellent communicator and is a joy to work with. My wife and I decided to work with polestar design after meeting with Chris to discuss potential options for our small project. We to this day, are thankful we did as there were many changes we made prior to starting and completing our project. There were many components that we did not think of and would have seriously regretted had we done this on our own. Being a home that we love to go to and may eventually retire in, there are several things we would have seriously regretted had we not made changes based on the info that Chris was able to assist us with.
