Have never thought to have authentic Hawaiian food in Wichita but I was proven wrong! The food was amazing and you can tell that a lot of work was put into the food they serve. I came here skeptical, especially since this building used to house my favorite wing place in town. The minute you walked through the door you can feel the Hawaiian vibe. The food is authentic and tasty. I had the barbecue lunch plate the Chicken & ribs were well-seasoned and tender the rice was great what is the mac salad that really gave me pause. It was simplicity, just like the Hawaiian lifestyle, uncomplicated and straightforward. the cabbage as part of the lunch plate was kind of bland but all things together it was an excellent lunch. I also sampled two tacos they were fabulous with the pineapple salsa. The portions are plenty and the flavors remind me of the islands. The real deal Hawaiian plate lunch! The BBQ Mix Plate is a good choice if you're not sure what to order for your first time because you'll get the teriyaki beef, chicken, and ribs. We got the loaded fries, kimchi fried rice, and the mixed combo. Every thing was great and at a reasonable price. I probably could have skipped the loaded fries next time because they are very dense and would count as a separate meal themselves!

My first time having MOs Hut was when I attended Open ICT. I smelled something amazing in the air and let my nose lead me to them. Came up and it was fresher grilled meat ready to be served.I live out of town and when I heard they opened a brick and mortar, I knew I had to have more. Finally, almost a year later, they did not disappoint.I got the BBQ platter that came with chicken, beef and ribs on a bed of perfectly cooked white rice, a side salad and Mac Salad.. everything was full of flavor, meats so juicy and the Mac salad was absolutely divine.I ordered a side of fries for my little nugget. Honestly, it probably is one of my favorite in town. Perfectly seasoned and had such a nice hot crisp to each bite. I'm not sure who runs the place but the employees there are so vibrant and fun. Great food, great portions, and UUUHHHHMAZING service. Not onky is the food delicious but you get plenty of it along with a super friendly staff. I got the bbq mix plate finished every last bit. Cant really move but it was worth it. Definitely worth the drive. If you havent already come check these guys out! The kimchi fried rice also has a small kick to it. Hello everyone. Today I was able to try something new, due to a friend, Kaimi Tiny Vincent. This is a new Hawaiian eatery in central wichita. The best part of it all; they have KETO options on the menu!!! Yes you heard it here first, Keto. I had a delicious fried chicken cutlet that was encrusted in ground pork rinds and that had been dredged in egg prior to the crust being added. It was served on a bed of mixed greens and their own special Keto salad dressing which had a nice spicy kick to it. My son had a wonderful garlic shrimp served with macaroni salad and rice. Every plate is served with gently steamed cabbage. It was so good I took a Hawaiian beef burrito home toy husband which he gobbled up without haste. In it was a wonderful marinated steak with kimchi fried rice (spicy) and let me tell you, we all took a bite and decided this establishment is definitely on our short list of places to go to again! Coming from Hawaii's "9th Island" Las Vegas, its been a tough go finding Hawaiian food in for the last 7 years. Finally, I don't have to search anymore. Wife and I stopped by and just had some mini plates, but what we had was great quality. I had the BBQ chicken and the wife had beef. Nothing fancy, but seasoned well and cooked good...very simple. Owner/chef is very polite and welcoming and the place is clean with some great pictures as well as fish tank.I'm looking forward to going back and having other meals when available...loco moco, musibis, Saimin, kalua pork, etc. More...
