Kyle is absolutely amazing. Probably the best cut and color I've ever had. I'm 48 so I've been coloring my hair quite a while.

Suzy M. Is the best stylist. Knows my fine hair and what to do to make look so full and healthy! The hair products (Kerastase) smell wonderful besides being great for my hair!

I love my hair Danny Boy! I will be back again and again. The only regret I have it that I didn't do this sooner. This has been life changing for me.

In my never-ending quest to find a relaxing place for a mani-pedi, it appears I am getting closer! I received a gift card to Loc Salon from some dear friends and put it to good use with a mani-pedi. I called at around 5 and they were able to get me an appointment with Michelle for the next morning, which was great. The building is beautiful, especially the landscaping. Checking in at reception is easy and the folks are friendly. Each nail tech has their own workspace with a pedi chair, nail table plus a sink and cabinets. It's nicer for the customer of course, but it also seems like a better environment for the nail techs as well. The pedi chairs have   little individual TVs and you can pick what you want to watch (no more Nancy Grace sneering down at me talking about dead white babies/co-eds while I try to 'relax'). I was able to use their wifi so I could use my computer during the pedi, and they even brought me out a tray to put over the arms of the chair so I didn't have to balace it on my legs. That alone is worth the price! Somehow my dragon paws are as soft as they've ever been, possibly because she uses a pain- and tickle-free electric tool to de-callous. Much better than that box grater I'm used to. Shellac mani was very straight forward. No soaking or paraffin here. Just cleaning up the nail, trimming the cuticles, and getting that shellac on there. In and out in an hour and 15 minutes, and enjoyed light (and I-just-met-you-please-let's-not-get-personal) level of conversation with Michelle. Commended instead of scolded me for not being married yet, a welcome deviation from the normal, "Oh, you're not married. How old are you? Oh my. Why don't you want to be married?" So, why is this not my go-to place forever and ever? Total price for mani-pedi (before tip): $100 smackers. Without the gift card I would never have been able to afford this, since it is a full $40 more than my normal pedi and shellac mani. So, a nice treat, something I'll save for birthdays, and very special occasions. Like if I ever get married. :) More...
