Jake was so amazing. I’m not use to being photographed and he could tell I think. I did my very first photoshoot with Jake! Even though I was really nervous and felt awkward with myself, Jake is a professional, nice, and fun.
He helped me with posing, my stance, pointers on how to angle your body. It only took a few minutes to make me feel comfortable. The whole shoot felt so natural, I couldn’t believe the images he captured. He told me to have fun and be yourself. I didn’t even know when he was taking pictures.

My shoot with Jake was extremely professional yet not too intimidating as I had imagined it might be on my first shoot with a professional photographer. We first tried Jake out with some engagement pictures and they turned out amazing. We hired him for our wedding right away!
He had great communication with us before our big day and took the time to ask us what kinds of photos were important to us and got to know our personalities which really showed in our pictures.
Jake has a lot of energy and attention to detail with some great ideas for creative shots and I was so happy with the way he navigated our wedding day. And most importantly, we LOVE our wedding pictures. Highly recommend!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being comfortable. I strive to customize and create and unique experience for everyone of my clients. Personally I believe this begins with setting the tone correctly. Photo shoots are suppose to be fun! Don't worry about looking silly! those photos don't make the cut, unless you want them too ;)
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are your goals with this this project? Do you have any references to go off of? Have you done a photo shoot before?
What do you love most about your job?
Freezing moments in time creating memories that last forever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for creativity and working with people. I have been in hospitality for over 15 years and I just really enjoy working with and having fun with new people.
Why should our clients choose you?
I care. I truly care whether or not you are not only satisfied with your experience working with me, but you actually enjoyed your time spent with me. There are a million photographers out there who know how to work a camera, but there isn't nearly as many who are genuinely concerned about your happiness in the way that I am. Once I began to see the type of joy I can bring to people with my camera, it made me never want to put it down again.
