Iron Angels Fit Club is a private training studio owned by Sharon Madsen, NASM certified trainer and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. She attended National Personal Training Institute. Sharon is Natural Athlete in Bikini and Figure and is a Masters Pro in Figure.

Sharon is a phenomenal trainer! I have been training with her for over 2 years, and the results are amazing. She is incredibly knowledgable on all aspects of fitness and nutrition,  and combines that with the perfect amount of encouragement! She has tailored my workouts to be targeted to strengthen areas related to my injuries (herniated discs) and enabled me to become stronger,  more confident, and pain-free. I started working out with Sharon about 2 years ago.  Training with her was great  She challenged me, supported me and gave me advice on fitness and nutrition.  She was able to accommodate my arthritis limitations while helping me to loose weight and define my shape.   Together I was able to loose 70 lbs.  This was all done with exercise and eating right.  Her exercise routines are never the same.  This keeps the exercise interesting and helps me to stay committed and learn lots of different ways to work my muscles.  I recently allowed life to take over and got off track.  After gaining 15 lbs. Nutrition is probably more important for optimal health than training, but they definitely go hand in hand. You can easily ruin your progress with a poor diet. Eating protein for maintaining and gaining muscle, healthy fats for proper vitamin absorption and hormone function, and carbs to fuel your workouts and activity. How much you need of each depends on your weight, body type and activity levels. A good coach can help you put the whole plan together.

I hold you accountable without being overbearing. I encourage you to take control of your journey through small habit change and goal setting. Nutrition is equally important so I educate on this area. Private clients get nutrition coaching as part of their programs. Being a competitor I have used many different approaches myself and know there are many ways to reach a fat Loss goal. As for weight training, I teach proper form from beginner level on up, I encourage and help modify exercises to suit you and your body and that will challenge you while keeping you safe.

I truly care and am always learning new training techniques, health information and educating myself in nutrition and coaching techniques. I have 11 years experience training & coaching and have gone through my own transformation. I know how habits add up to a healthy lifestyle. Make sure your trainer is nationally certified by a major certification such as NASM, ACE, NSCA etc, and have CPR training. Those certs require the trainer continue their education. I understand lifestyle and hormone changes, injuries, etc because I'm older and have life experience.

Instruction in resistance training, core training, high intensity cardio, stretching and recovery.
