We have lived in Memphis area for 15 years and just this year visited the gardens. This is a MUST! Especially for families with children! I love this better than CMOM!!! Totally worth getting the membership! More...

Immense and gorgeous place to spend the day with the whole family! Tons to do for kids and plenty of tranquil areas if you just want to get away for some peaceful time under a tree. It's definitely worth a trip!

One of my most favorites places in Memphis. Nothing is better than Live at the Garden concerts and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Just did the Stars & Stripes 5k that was scheduled there and it was great. More...

My boyfriend and I had an exceptional experience at this venue for the Little Big Town concert last night. Entering was not a hassle once gates opened and we found a spot on the lawn with a great view.
Will definitely return for future events! - girlfriend

Our son got sick while attending a field trip here. The staff was so kind and graciously welcomed our entire family back for a day to visit. Our boys loved running around exploring and especially loved the kids area! Definitely recommend going! More...

I got a MBG membership after visiting for a tea ceremony. I take my kids and grand kids and they enjoy it completely. There's always something new and the attractions that come through are intriguing. I will definitely renew next year.

I attended a wedding there on Sunday, the 6th of August. Very lovely place for a wedding, carts to take you to the chapel deep in the gardens. . and to bring you back. Wish I could have gotten more photos, but it is beautiful, serene & the room for the reception was gorgeous, food was good, & employees very gracious! A very nice evening! More...

This place has something for everyone. The grounds are full of color and variety. There are quiet spots for contemplation. The Big Backyard area for kids is full of things to climb and explore and play. The paths are wide and cover nearly the entire grounds. The koi are lively. There are many benches and spots to rest. They do a spectacular job. More...

We love the gardens altogether. I would like to highlight Mr Drew with the Caterpillar Club. My son has celiac, and Mr Drew is very mindful of his need to avoid gluten. He goes above and beyond to consult via email before class on upcoming crafts. He is always willing to adapt on the behalf of our son. We appreciate his professional integrity to include all children. He is very gentle soul, and the children just adore him. More...

The Boston concert on July 1 was a wonderful show. The Botanic Garden is a great venue to see a concert. There are screens strategically placed to allow people in the back to see the stage.
But for this show I'd rather hear the music than see the band. I wish there were one or two more speakers strategically situated so people in the back could have heard the full impact of Boston at a higher sound level. Then again, we could have picked a spot on the lawn closer to a speaker (ha ha).
On the plus side, the mosquitoes/bugs were not a problem, so I commend the preparation done to spray the ground in advance. Also, the parking crew and ushers did a great job of getting people in and out quickly.
I encourage every Memphian to see at least one Live performance at Memphis Botanic Garden.

To be honest when my wife wanted to get us a season pass to the MBG I was skept...against it. I thought that it was the dumbest idea of all time. I was wrong we go quite a bit with our 3 boys (6, 3, 7 months) the Big Back Yard is fun for them and they are always having events that bring a new look at a familiar place. Big Bug Sculptures are there now and they were fantastic, the boys quickly abandoned seeing them all in favor of playing in the Big Back Yard, but after leaving wished that we had seen them all. Needless to say when our pass is expired we will be renewing. More...
