Didi did a wonderful job making our family feel comfortable during our photoshoot. With 3 squirmy boys, I wasn't sure if we'd get any good shots, but somehow she managed to get a BUNCH of AWESOME ones! Thanks SO much!

Didi is such an amazing photographer. She never disappoints! Didi did my senior photos when I graduated last year and the photos turned out amazing! My family and friends were in love with the wonderful work she did. We even ordered a book from her with my senior session photos and everyone got to sign it at my graduation party. It’s a memory that I will be able to bring along wherever life takes me and I’m so grateful! Four Acres Photography also has taken many of my family photos and we’re always so impressed with her work and perspective. She’s definitely such a creative person and is so talented!! If you’re looking for a photographer definitely go with this business!! More...

Q&As

The secret actually isn't technical at all....the secret, at least to me, is to make you FEEL something when you look at the photo. It should take you back to that moment. It should tell YOUR story, and be real.

I always want to find out what my client has in mind first. From there, I would ask who are we including in the session? Do you have a location in mind? We can do something outdoors, or in studio. Have you thought about outfits? If not, that's completely fine, I will help as much or as little as you need. Would you like to include professional hair and makeup? Most of the time people do not have all of these answers, and that is perfectly OK! That's what I'm here for. To give you the very best experience and to handle all of the details for you so that you can just show up and be in the moment.

Oh goodness, I love so many things about my job I'm not sure where to even begin. I love being able to provide people with tangible products after their photo session. Your images will not just sit on a USB or a computer somewhere. They'll be hanging on your walls, and in albums sitting on your coffee table. You'll get to enjoy them every day - not just when you decide to look at them on the computer. I also really love photographing senior girls. There’s just something I love about being able to pamper them, help them choose their outfits, set up their professional hair and makeup, and show them how beautiful they are. It’s soooo tough being a teenage girl (even tougher now than when I was a teenager) and I really love being able to help boost their confidence. When they see how beautiful they are in their photos I feel like they see themselves how everyone else sees them, and that is probably the most rewarding part of my job.

Starting my own business is probably one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I worked a corporate 8-5 for 20 years, and there's just something to be said for the freedom that running your own business provides. It's not always easy, but it's ALWAYS worth it.

I offer something unique. Something different than a lot of other photographers. You're never left on your own to figure out what to wear, where to take the photos, or what to do with the photos after the session, I hold your hand and guide you through the entire experience. I really value quality over quantity, and I only take 4-6 sessions per month to make sure that I'm giving each of my clients 100% of myself, because that's what they deserve.
