I ordered flowers to be delivered on a Saturday. As it turned out, it was about 30 degrees out that day and windy and the recipient was not home. They tried twice to deliver before calling me and the recipient. We ultimately got in touch and George delivered the flowers well after closing. He really went above and beyond with service. Customer service is top-notch here. You can tell this is a small business with a lot of pride. I ordered from afar to deliver a housewarming gift for friends who had just moved to the local area. The website/order options are so easy to use. I received a phone call that one of the many flowers in my arrangement wasn't looking as great that day and the shop would have new/better ones the next day - they offered to let me change my delivery date OR gave me two other options on the phone and explained why they would look good as replacements for the arrangement I chose. Many flower shops would have just swapped the flowers out, relying on the disclaimer language on their website, without me ever knowing. Such great service! More...

My first giant rose bouquet for Valentine's day was delivered a couple of years ago. Those roses and the greenery with it lasted forever! Also, I photographed a couple of wedding events done by Garden Gate and the bouquets and centerpieces were exquisite. The bouquets and boutonnieres didn't have an "ugly side" as with some I have seen by other florists. You couldn't see the floral tape, the pins were neatly done, and the burlap was perfect around the bouquet handles, the centerpieces at the events were consistent and full. I have photographed some really crappy bouquets and boutonnieres that were done by other florists...sorry to say...but with Garden Gate I don't think you can go wrong! lol. More...

We went to Garden Gate florist on Saturday afternoon, and honestly, we ended up there because they were the only florist that we could find that was open.
We were there to order flower arrangements for a service that was Monday night. The women who worked there were very nice, helpful and kind. Going in, my mom, sister and I had ideas of what we wanted and she worked with us to make it happen I asked for with a blue scheme and a ribbon that said “Family Matters”. This was the name of my family’s relay for life team that we formed when we found out that my aunt had colon cancer. Colon cancer’s awareness color is blue. This was very dear to me and I could not have been happier with the way that it came out – even the touch of the purple flowers were symbolic of how she was, for many years, our survivor. I’m not sure if that was intentional by the florist or not – but I did not request it.
Our arrangements were perfect and appreciate the time and effort you put in toi them!

I cannot say enough great things about them. George not only put extra time into the arrangement I ordered , but constantly emailed me updates with the status of my order until it was delivered .
