What’s your signature dish?
Mofongo, our Puerto Rican inspired dish with smoked pulled pork cooked for 10 hours mixed with sweet fried plantains, lime juice, roasted garlic, cilantro. We offer in our food truck mofongo as a sandwich and we will top this with jack cheese and our house made Jalapeno Slaw. For catering we serve Mofongo with black beans and Jazmine rice.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
we ask questions and listen as to what their needs are. We do our best to accommodate our client's needs
What do you love most about your job?
We love making our client and their guests happy by making delicious food. We love when they come to us and compliment our food and service.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Explorers Club started as a restaurant in Merion Village in 2011 then we decided to adventure to get our own food truck in 2012. While the restaurant was still in business we wanted to explore different types of cuisines and have a different options for our customers to try and enjoy while utilizing fresh ingredients, local, and homemade.
