The owner and office staff were very courteous and professional when we called. We had a major squirrel and mouse infestation in both the attic and crawl space. After hearing noises in our attic that were driving our cats nuts, my husband and I called ACME. I was familiar with them since I manage an apartment community, and they always did excellent work for us. Well, the excellence continued into our home! After struggling to take care of a feral cat issue in our attic on our own and another company “not seeing anything,” ACME came in and started taking care of our feral cat problem immediately. I called in the morning and they were here in the afternoon. After inspecting our entire house, they came up with a detailed plan of action to get the cats out and keep them out. I would recommend ACME to anyone. They knew exactly what to do and gave me reassurance about my situation(squirrels in my attic). Great customer service and super friendly. They even gave me advice about how to handle the issues of my neighbors prolonging their repairs on their side of our connecting townhouses. Brian, the owner, was great. Explained everything to us in detail and offered a small discount because the visit had to be rescheduled. George, the repair technician, sealed up all entry points in a quick and clean manner. Overall we paid $494 for the removal of rats and all entry points sealed up. I would recommend them. Professional, respectable quality service. I had a baby bat enter the house at 2 p.m. this past week. Not knowing what to do, I called Animal Control and closed off the room that the bat had found its way into. When Animal Control arrived, they could not find the bat and so they left me with a "call us back if you see it again...stay out of the room until it is found." Luckily, the baby bat did come out and my neighbor was able to catch and release it without harming himself or the bat. Then it became a problem of finding out where the little guy came into the house. A friend recommended ACME Animal Control as she had positive experiences with them. Brain and his crew came out and inspected the home very throughly. He noticed a very small opening to the top of the fireplace, fixed it, and assured me that the other common areas of entry were all secure. The service was scheduled quickly for my needs, and the "call ahead" is great for this busy Mom. I had received a quote from another company and the starting price was $400 so ACME price being much less, was truly better on this family's budget! Thank you Brain and ACME for your services!!! Used another company for dead animal removal and got high estimate for work that needed to be done to seal entry points and animal proof my home. Brian and Tucker of ACME animal control were very informative, polite and courteous. Told us the work the other company was recommending did not need to be done and gave us suggestions to do some minor repair ourselves. They did charge a 99 dollar inspection fee but was well worth it since I almost paid 3400 for work that needed to be done. The other company charged me 440 dollars for removal of dead animal and ACME said I was way overcharged for the job done. They also said that if anything got into my attic within the next 30 days of their inspection they would come out to remove it for free. Hopefully I will never be in that situation again but if I am I will be calling ACME Animal Control. More...
