To start, I generally ask about the scope of the project, including budget and timeframe, in order to make sure that we are a fit upfront. I then ask questions pertaining to the client's vision, ideas, and goals.

Great photographs make you look good, whether it's a photo of your storefront, your inventory, or your employees. Great photos highlight your personality (or branding) and make you stand out and shine.

To start, I ask about the client's vision for their photographs, whether there is a particular story they are trying to tell or an impression they want to leave (trendy and hip, professional, warm and friendly). I always ask about the intended use of the photos.

I love helping small business owners get noticed by their ideal customers. Many times, small business owners are great at what they do but struggle with the marketing and creative side of things. Running a business can be challenging, especially if you don't have the right toolkit to help you stand out in the sea of competitors.

I’m first and foremost a storyteller. I’ve been a published writer since I was a child. I’ve been passionate about photography since my dad passed down his Pentax camera to me when I was in high school, in the days before digital photography. I started building websites and blogging before Wordpress exploded onto the scene. I never imagined back then that these self-taught skills that I’ve been building on and honing over the years would be the foundation of a business and the culmination of my dreams.

I now utilize those skills to help others tell their unique story through authentic branding and compelling digital and social marketing. I’m a branding specialist for entrepreneurs and small businesses, providing graphic design, website design, and visual and written content development.
