Cheyenne was great at helping us with our German Shepard who was having a hardtime getting along with our other smaller dogs who kept bother her. She was also pulling us while walking and being very reactive to other humans and dogs while walking her to the point that we were scared to walk her . After Cheyenne training she came back a total different dog we were now able to walk her with no fear and enjoy the walks, she stayed nicely in her crate and has been easier to have her around our smaller dogs. As a retired dog trainer who is now disabled and unable to train, I am very critical of who trains my dog. Cheyenne impressed me not only with her knowledge and training skills but also with her passion to help people have the best relationship and life with their dog. My dog had aggression issues towards people. I listened to Cheyenne’s plan of training and trusted her to keep my dog for her three week board and train program. It was tough not having my dog but this was the best decision! Not only did my dog come back happy, she was social and had confidence out in public. This was something I couldn’t help with because of my disabilities. It has been great being able to take my dog out in public and not worry. Cheyenne was worth every single penny-she is fearless and patient and kind. She has gone above and beyond before, during and after training. I cannot sing her praises loud enough-she met every expectation we had when taking our dog to her. We drive 3 hours to take our dog to her and she was worth it. We were desperate to get help for our two dogs after seeing aggressive behaviors from both of them. After talking with Cheyenne at CBT, she suggested boarding and training them for their barrier aggression, fear based aggression and socialization with people and dogs.

After training with her for a few weeks, they are completely different dogs! We were shocked at how much improvement they made. They are no longer leash reactive, whereas before they would growl/bark/sprint back and forth when seeing people and dogs on walks. They now know heal very well when before they would pull so hard on the leash we couldn’t even walk them together. She also worked with them on crate training, muzzle training, no jumping, and “place” command.

Cheyenne sent us video updates almost every day which helped us with peace of mind while the dogs stayed with her. When she dropped them off, she did a whole training session with us to show how to handle them and what she taught them. She also provides a follow up session a couple weeks after drop off.

I could not recommend Cheyenne more. She is extremely knowledgeable and has helped my dog make fantastic progress. I signed my five year old German Shepherd up for the three week board and train program to help with her reactivity and anxiety. Throughout the entire process, Cheyenne sent me photos and videos of my dog with helpful tips that I can refer back to. Cheyenne not only tells you how to train with your dog, but she makes sure you understand the WHY behind your dog’s behavior. By the end of the program, both me and my dog learned so much! The training was great and my dog has learned to be very obedient. Also, it is very convenient to have the option yo have your dog picked up and dropped off from your home. Cheyenne was good at listening to our specific training issues and addressing them. And continues to answer follow up questions as they come up. I cannot express how grateful I am to Cheyenne for taking such wonderful care of my sweet Luna for a whole month. Before Cheyenne, Luna was pretty well-behaved but had some trouble walking on leash, spooked pretty easily, barked at anything and everything… but most importantly, I wanted to train Luna as a service dog to help manage my OCD. Luna came home with a great foundation in behavior interruption and reliable recall, a perfect “heel,” super reliable “sit,” “stay,” and “place,” and amazing confidence. Cheyenne sent pictures and videos almost every day, and was a great (and patient!) trainer for both Luna AND me! Luna literally cried when Cheyenne left after our exit training session. Cheyenne is the absolute best. Our Great Pyrenees mix female dog would bark intensely at any dog she saw. With all the training Cheyenne did, she is a whole new dog with the best manners. Cheyenne asked so many great questions about her behavior and was willing to go out and observe us on walks in our neighborhood and with our other dog to give even better feedback. I would highly recommend Cheyenne if your dog is reactive to other dogs or just needs some basic good dog manners on walks. She saved my sanity and I no longer have to feel worried when seeing a dog on the street for walks. Such an amazing trainer. More...

Cheyenne has been helping our dalmatian out with fear and reactivity training. She was able to get our training started within days of our initial contact and our dog learned so much after just one session with her!!❤️
