As a high school teacher in one of Nebraska’s most diverse high schools with a large Latino population I’m constantly seeking the best resources to help my students with whatever life problems may arise. Blackford Law has been the best resource when it comes to finding answers and solutions to immigration issues. I love the fact that I can just pick up the phone on any given day and have a Blackford Law Associate, whom I trust, attentively listen to my concerns and offer some practical next steps. What I respect most about Blackford Law is they really care about the community they serve. On numerous occasions Brian and his team have spoken with my refugee and immigrant students about what a career in Law looks like. They’ve even been willing to have some of my students who are interested in becoming lawyers job shadow Brian. Just recently one of my DACA students job shadowed Brian and after the experience there was a new found hope in her. Not only did this experience solidify this was the career for her, but that it was possible for her to achieve it. Attorney Brian Blackford has helped me with the process of my DACA permit and more recently with my residency process. My experience of having him as my attorney has been excellent. He has gone above and beyond to make sure my process was fast and easy and has kept me well informed throughout the process. He's very knowledgeable and his staff is very professional and welcoming.
