My daughter has been working with Antionette for almost a year now, and we’ve seen amazing progress! She really loves coming here and looks forward to it every week! Antoinette is patient and encouraging. We looked for so long for a music therapist...thankful beyond words to have found BMMT! More...

The knowledge and talent found here is comparable to bigger city therapy centers. They have helped us achieve goals we were once told we would never hit. My son is finding his voice, learning emotions and surpassing set goals while having fun in a non stressed environment! He doesn’t know it’s a “therapy” and that was important to me. I highly recommend looking into music therapy here ! More...

Calling for info, Antoinette was kind, patient and clear with her description of what to expect from a session. She is a clinician at Marywood earning my respect. Her cost is reasonable

I am in awe of the work performed by Antoinette. Her musical talent coupled with her gentle spirit and patient disposition makes her the perfect candidate to entrust your child for music therapy. I have seen first-hand the results she achieves with some of the most challenging students. I highly recommend Antoinette's very valuable services. There couldn't be a more capable person in her profession. More...

Q&As

I love the work I do. I mostly work with children and adolescents, and some adults also. Working in this manner comes common sense to me. I love the results I see from the work I do!

Because of how services get paid for in my area, I see that most of the time, people are working from a symptomatice checklist perspective, what is wrong, instead of what is right with the client and the why issues are issues. Instead of working with the source, most work I have seen is done with the symptom. I prefer to get to the source and work from a more positive stance. What does the client already have that we can use to work on what is causing problems in functioning for them. Move away from medication and look at the source.Music Therapy is difficult to fund in Pa, so in order to do good work, verses prescribed practice, owning my own business is the option I am now choosing. Making change happens requires one act at a time.
