Counseling
I loved the person I found. She is wonderful
What do you love most about your job?
The most rewarding part of counseling is helping patients gain a new perspective that allows them to make progress in achieving their goals for treatment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Frequently, patients will find that different agencies specialize in either mental health or substance use. As practitioners specializing in the treatment of both mental health and substance use, we are able to focus on both types of challenges at one time.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a licensed professional counselor and licensed telehealth mental health counselor with advanced certification in alcohol and drug counseling, we provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for a wide range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, bipolar, depression, mood regulation, and PTSD, and addictions, including alcohol, benzodiazepines, cannabis, cocaine, opiates, and stimulants.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. We provide counseling and suboxone treatment through secured and encrypted audiovisual platforms like zoom and doxy.me.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At this time, we are providing counseling and suboxone treatment through secured and encrypted audiovisual platforms like zoom and doxy.me.
suboxone treatment
Why Suboxone?
We offer Suboxone treatment to our patients for opioid use disorder. In conjunction with our medication review, counseling, and drug testing services, buprenorphine can serve as a life-saving measure in the treatment of opioid use disorder.
How does it work?
Suboxone is often combined with naloxone to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, while the naloxone blocks the effects of opioid drugs if someone attempts to misuse the medication. This combination helps reduce withdrawal symptoms while also providing protection against relapse.
How quickly does it work?
Suboxone takes effect within 15 minutes. While patients generally experience improvement the first time they take Suboxone, it usually takes about two weeks to completely eliminate opioid cravings.
naltrexone treatment
Why Naltrexone?
We offer naltrexone treatment together with medication review, counseling, and drug testing services to treat patients struggling with alcohol use disorder. Naltrexone has become more prevalent as an effective means to treat problem drinking.
How does it work?
Naltrexone blocks the endorphin rush from drinking alcohol, which helps to "rewire" the brain to think differently about alcohol. Together with counseling and random drug and alcohol testing, naltrexone can help individuals cease alcohol use and maintain recovery over the long-term.
How quickly does it work?
Naltrexone takes about one to two hours to take effect. While patients generally experience improvement the first time they take naltrexone, it usually takes about a month for medication to completely eliminate alcohol cravings.
