I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!
I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.
I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.
I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

My dog Bindi is a five month old terrier who needed behavior training. Sam started with the basics; heal, sit, stay and progressed to more complex Commands. Bindi has shown great improvement which makes my life easier. I would recommend Sam to anyone who has a dog!

Matheu is an excellent trainer with a calm demeanor and lots of patience w our cocker spaniel and me. He offers training in digestible increments so I can pick up techniques that work. Begin h training with our young puppy at an early ages as encourage by Matheu has also made the puppy stage much easier to manage. We are confident we’ll have a well trained service dog at the end of the lessons.

What a wonderful experience. Rich is so good with the dog, it’s incredible. Our dog seemed to be so aware of Rich. We sent a wild, jumping, nipping puppy and came home with a calmer, no pulling , no nipping dog. What a great change. Our puppy still has his sweet personality as is much more lovable, thanks to Rich and this K-9 Reset experience!
