They came to my house, were gentle and professional with my new kitten, and made great recommendations. They took him away in a shiny van and returned very soon after with a clean, fragrant, purring kitten sans mats and knots. Everyone was delighted.

I've been using Bonnie and Mike for a few years now to lion cut my two kitties and they are absolutely the best! It used to be so traumatic for both my cats and myself to drive to a groomer, so finding this mobile service was a game changer. But more than that, my girls come back inside completely chill and not stressed in the slightest. And they are FAST! They wash and clip both cats in under an hour, which we all love. We've been having our cat groomed by Salty Dog for almost a year now, and are very happy. They come right to your door, and you can be in the van with them if you want. We get a lion cut and nail trim for our long haired cat, who is usually terrified to leave our house. He comes back perfectly fine, and not traumatized at all. We also have had our pitbull groomed by Salty Dog. She is a rescue who is usually scared of men, but she did really well with this process. I'd also like to say thanks to Salty Dog for being so good with her. Bonnie and Mike were amazing. Even though my cat has never had a bath before, she seemed to be calmed, not agitated, by the whole process. The grooming really relaxed her, which was not what we had expected at first!  We were impressed by the quality of their work and thought it was well worth it.  Because of LA traffic, I wouldn't expect that they are able to reach your house at exactly the time specified, so it's best to schedule them when you will be home for a long stretch. I absolutely love Bonnie & Mike! My senior beagle loves the special love and attention he always receives from them. He's such a good judge of character, so I know if he likes them: they're good people! I enjoy chatting with them while they work, and when I need to just leave my dog alone with them I'm absolutely certain they are still doing the same high quality work. His nails are always trimmed right (never bleeds!), they clean his one remaining tooth, and he smells absolutely delicious when he's finished! My first service with Bonnie was impeccable but since then the scheduling has been difficult to sync up. I cant stay home for the day to wait for the groomers and weekends she isn't able to cover since my first visit. I can't drop my emotionally sensitive cat off at the cleaners or else he would be traumatized for days from dogs. I had such a hard time finding a mobile groomer that would come to South LA, but then I found Bonnie and Mike! They gave my rag doll cat a nail trim, lion cut and bath and our dachshund a nail trim. Bonnie and Mike did a wonderful job on my medium-sized working dog and my three ragdoll cats. They allowed me to be there for the entire process so that I could "morally support" my furry children. I had the opportunity to observe how gentle and calming Bonnie and Mike are yet they accomplished The job fast but without a rush and paid attention to details. Love this team of mobile groomers. I've been using them for a couple of years now for my kitties. I switch between lion cuts, short cuts, and shavings. I really really like this couple work. They always leave my cat like I ask them. They provide great services, keep up instructions, and their fee is fair. Not expensive, but affordable. If they fall behind schedule, they'll call you on time.I always get my cat every two months a flea bath, and comb. I do provide specific instruction no trimming nails due to personal reasons. Plus apply the flea gel I provide to them.Again, very friendly, responsible, and awesome team workers. They do come to your house on time. One more thing, my cat really really hates water. Bonnie is great, most mobile groomers primarily work with dogs so I love how experienced Bonnie is working with cats. Really, with how tied to a location cats can be using a mobile a groomer is the only way to go if you want to get your cat groomed. My cat came back sparkling clean, soft, and nice smelling all while seeming not to have minded the grooming. Easy to schedule, great price, wonderful job on my kitties' lion cuts.You can tell Bonnie and Mike are true animal lovers. They were very understanding and careful handling my arthritic cat. $95 cat clip and bath included nail clipping, ear cleaning, and some freshening teeth gel (as your cat allows. I came across Bonnie's grooming service while I was walking my dog in the am. I noticed their van parked several times outside my house and decided to try mobile grooming instead of taking my dog for a visit. I was very happy with my first experience trying their mobile grooming. I called and made an appointment with Bonnie for an early Friday morning. Excellent service! They are awesome! My Persian looks so much lighter. They arrived on time and we're done in about one hour. Never using my vet again for grooming services. I swear Bonnie & her husband are cat whisperers. I know all cats hate being groomed, but in the past my girls have absolutely lost their minds in ways I've never seen as soon as their crate comes out. But the first time Bonnie brought my cats back to the door (in half the time of any other groomer by the way), they were energetic and happy and loving and she remarked that they were some of her easiest clients to date! Best groomers I've ever used and my dog Kira never looked so good! Bonnie and Mike are fantastic! The process was so easy. I called and left a message, Bonnie called back and we made an appointment. They showed up on time, right out front of my apartment complex and took her inside the mobile van for her doggie spa treatment. About an hour later, Kira was done... clean, fluffy and beautiful!With a senior dog, it's getting harder and harder to take her to a groomer. Bonnie and her husband are EXCEPTIONAL! Today they gave my 23 pound, 10 year old Ragdoll cat a lion cut and not only does he look great, it was FAST, CONVENIENT, and LOW STRESS. I have his hair cut about once a year. The groomer I had used was at least a half hour drive for us and as he's gotten older I didn't want to put him through the long car trip and then the several hours of waiting for the other cats ahead of him to be tended to. This is PERFECT. He was all alone in there without other dogs and cats, he didn't seem stressed out when we got him back (one hour later!), and he looks great. It was slightly more expensive than the groomer we used to take him to but it's worth every penny for our little guy to be comfortable. I cannot imagine why you wouldn't want to have your pet groomed this way! You do need to plan ahead several weeks out as they are very busy, give her a call and leave a message, Bonnie is great with calling back! More...

I used their service about 3 times to give my 2 long-hair cats lion haircuts. I told them no bath was needed, just the cuts. They did a great job the first 2 times, but last time both of my cats hair was just trimmed not much shorter that before going in. By 3 weeks they needed haircuts again. Bonnie is the best! She returned my call quickly and was able to get my cat scheduled for the following weekend. She made me feel very comfortable when I explained I have a special needs kitty (deaf and has kidney failure) and assured me she has a ton of experience with special needs cats & will take good care of him. On the day of, she called me 2+ hours before my appointment to let me know she was going to be running a little late. She was only 15 mins late and obviously cares a great deal about her customers!My kitty was in and out in under 45 mins and came back smelling wonderful with a shiny coat. Her prices are very affordable! I spent the same price as the groomer but without the stress of driving in the car with a crying cat. My cat got a lion's cut this morning (5/15/15) and Bonnie was great! I have a Himalayan and her hair was probably four inches long, she had a few knots too. Only took about a half hour, if that, and well done. I would highly recommend her for cat trims. My cat is asthmatic too, so it's better than having to leave her at a groomers for part of the day. I didn't give her a bath, which always help lessen the trauma, but I watched and she did good, started to get annoyed maybe in the last 5 minutes but for a cat, not bad! :) More...

These people cleaned my filthy cat! I mean, I love my cat but be is mildly retarded... he can't clean the poop off his bum and he screams "ROME! I have a long-haired, large, male tabby that is petrified when I've taken him to the groomers to get his nails clipped.  A friend recommended Salty Dog and Cool Cat,  and I couldn't be more pleased!  They clipped Bear's toenails and gave him the onceover as well.  I may have to change his name to Lion because he came out looking like one with a ruff and tail!  I don't think he's ever been that clean!  I'm very happy with Salty Dog and Cool Cat, and I look forward to using them again. I have used them twice now and will keep using Bonnie/her husband! I made an appointment with them for an hour window and they are always there within the time they give. It takes her about 45/60 minutes to wash/cut nails/shave my long haired persian and she smells amazing when she comes back! No cuts and my cat is calm as can be when she's given back. I FINALLY FOUND MY GROOMER!!!!!  After years of bad service, bad cuts, a clipped ear and a scratched cornea, I've finally found my cat's groomer.  I have a 7 year old, long-haired Persian, who needs a good shave at least once a year.  She's the sweetest thing, but for some reason we've had really horrible, traumatizing experiences with the groomer.  I found Bonnie after doing months of research online.  She did not disappoint.  Her and her husband showed up at my house on time and took 30 minutes.  My cat had a bath, lions-cut and nails trimmed.  It was the best service and cut she's ever had.  I HIGHLY recommend them for all your pets grooming needs.  Wish I could give them 10 stars! So pleased with Salty Dog and Cool Cat Groomers. I have two Himalayan cats that needed to get shaved. Bonnie did a great job and the cats look great. I have had problems with other cat groomers in the past nicking my cats as Himalayan have very delicate skin but there were no issues with  Salty Dog and Cool Cats.
