From start to finish we couldn't have asked for a better experience! I initially booked with Powerplay DJ after talking to them at one of the Bridal shows in the F/M. Travis was our DJ and I would highly recommend him! He was very helpful with the planning process and was quick to answer my questions. He also made a point to check in with us throughout the day and he kept on top of the schedule to keep things moving along on time. We'd recommend Travis at Powerplay DJ again and again! We had an outdoor tent wedding in October in Minnesota, well, it was a winter wonderland! Travis did not disappoint; we had the best time and while a 1/4 of our guests couldn't make it due to road conditions, I swear Travis had 200+ guests on the dance floor at all times. He asked what music we wanted, but we also agreed to whatever he felt was necessary to keep the party going. When people say it was the best day ever, it truly was the best day ever. We had so many compliments about how "this is the best wedding ever!" I hired Powerplay DJ for my wedding reception. Travis and Missy were great to work with! They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the song selections and play for the evening, and they were very flexible as well. I had my sister play the bagpipes during the wedding party's grand entrance. Hardly conventional, but Travis and Missy rolled with it. They helped call everyone out to the dance floor and announced us, but the bagpipes were still the star of that particular section. We had also planned to do a bouquet toss, but at the last minute I couldn't find my bouquet so Travis and Missy cancelled it. They were also great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. They played some slower songs and polkas for the older couples, and kept my cousins on the dance floor until the end of the evening. They even brought little giveaways like inflatable guitars that were a hit with the kids. They were on time and got everything set up without any hassle. They acted as MCs and made all the announcements. They always checked with me to make sure they were pronouncing everyone's name right, had the right order of events, knew who was giving speeches, etc. Overall, they were great to work with, and I would definitely hire them for another event. DJ Craig, is the absolute best of the best!!! If you can request a DJ, he is hands down the greatest! We were married on 5. 11 and DJ Craig did a fabulous job at keeping the dance going strong all night. I had family from New York and Phoenix in town and they could not believe how wonderful he was. He played all the songs I wanted for the dance and kept the guests engaged the entire night. I have had nothing but compliments from the guests on how fantastic our DJ was. We also opted for the photo booth. I would say if anyone is on the fence about that, just get it. Craig was the DJ at our wedding reception in February and I can't say enough wonderful things about him! We initially chose them based on their very reasonable pricing for the Top Notch Standard Wedding Package and after the entire experience we could not have been happier. Our DJ, Craig, did a great job during the preplanning phase and during our reception. After the preplanning phase we felt extremely pleased and comfortable that our reception experience would be amazing. Powerplay DJ was great! Our DJ was Mike and he was wonderful to work with. He helped us plan everything out so it was just the way we wanted it and was very flexible to work with. He even got down on the dance floor and helped when a majority of the people didn't know how to do some group dances. He kept the dance floor full all night. We also got the photobooth which was also wonderful. I didn't catch the ladies name working the photo booth but she was very kind and helpful. Powerplay DJ of Fargo, ND supplied the party music at our August 27th, 2016 wedding! We had such an awesome time! Andy did an outstanding job and was eager to please us even with last minute changes. . it was storming the day of in Portland, and we needed to move the ceremony to the place of reception, so he came early to have everything set up! We rocked the night away even through the tornados and all! We even tracked down a generator to keep the speakers bumpin! Andy is THE BEST!! Powerplay DJ was so easy to communicate with and plan out our wedding reception. They were easy to reach whether it was email, text, or phone call with any questions we had. Alan made sure our specific requests were met and made our dance so fun and interactive. He communicated with us throughout the whole thing, constantly making sure it was going how we planned. I cannot thank Brian enough for making our wedding reception so perfect! From dinner to the dance, he completely exceeded our expectations. Our on-site venue coordinator even left early for the night because Brian went above and beyond with the coordinating/MC duties that she typically does during cocktail hour/dinner! We got so many compliments on the music choices, and our dance floor was PACKED all night (we event went late.. didn't want the party to end!)

Brian was professional, friendly, and FUN throughout the entire process. We appreciated the suggestions for fun activities at the reception that we wouldn't have otherwise known about (shoe game and snowball). He played songs that fit our group, many of which I wouldn't have thought to request. Just shows that he is great at his job and can really read the room. Would definitely recommend! More...

Powerplay DJ was so great to work things out with. They helped us with everything we had thought regarding songs and set up, we actually requested Trek with Powerplay DJ over a year before our wedding because we loved him at a friends wedding he was DJ for. He was so upbeat, was able to get the crowd up and have fun. We love the way he interacted with every age! Out on the floor dancing and just having a blast with us. DJ was wonderful! I was the primary contact between my husband and I , and the DJ checked with me for everything. We had about 45 children who were chomping at the bit to start dancing and the DJ even began our dance early for the little ones, but waited for our wedding party dances and what not!

We had Scott for our DJ, and I have to give him mad props. He did the best with what was given to him, that’s for sure! Our reception was a little out of the ordinary, not too many people dancing, because everyone who stayed wanted to talk to everyone, because they hadn’t seen each other in years. Our friends and family were more interested in chatting than dancing. And Scott did the best he could to get people out there, and when there were, he knew what songs to play! I think I was MIA for most of the dance (still don’t know where the hell I went!) and Scott was so patient and great with all the chaos going on! Haha.

Scott (and Powerplay as a whole) were fantastic to work with. Always timely in getting back to me, and making sure the music we wanted was going to be played. I was most impressed with how easy the transactions were and how organized everything was.

Our DJ was Craig, he did an amazing job! We met with him several months before our big day and he took the time to listen to us and hear exactly what we wanted. We had a great experience using Powerplay DJ for our wedding at Oxbow Country Club September 1st. Our DJ was Eric, and he was so great! He went above and beyond to make our day wonderful! I chose an instrumental song for our processional in the ceremony, but didn't like how one part sounded, so Eric went on to edit the song and play it on a loop to skip over that part. I was so appreciative of this and the time it took him to do that! At our reception, the DJs were amazing! They knew exactly what songs to play when to keep people on the dance floor all night long! Travis with Powerplay DJ did such an amazing job at our wedding. From having an open line of communication to his skills of reading a crowd, I can honestly say I wouldn't have wanted anyone else for a DJ. Our friends and family raved about how wonderful the music was during the dinner and dance, and of course the shoe game.
