Great thanks to Frank at Pacific Coast Trust for all his help in setting up a living trust for us.  He explained all the details, how the process works and gave us excellent guidance and answers to all of our questions.  I thought creating a trust was going to be time consuming, expensive and complicated so I had put it off for years. Having had a relative recently go through probate, I learned early on that one needs a trust in order to avoid the very expensive and time-consuming process of probate. We needed to have our family trust updated. My husband found Pacific Coast Trust on the internet and the reviews were good. We had previously interviewed another trust attorney, however, she was pressuring us to hire her and when we said we wanted to interview one more attorney she suddenly brought out a "discount" sheet if we would sign right then and there which we felt was unprofessional. We liked Pacific Coast Trust. We worked with Frank who paid us a visit to our home which was very convenient. He was personable and knowledgeable and did not pressure us at all. We were very pleased with the way Pacific Coast handled the updates to our family trust and the legal advice given to us. He even notarized it at our home and we asked a neighbor to be our witness. Almost two years ago I contacted Frank Kallmeyer in setting up a trust. He was professional, friendly and above all knowledgeable. Due to work commitments, I was distracted and tabled establishing the trust until June of this year when I had a little bit of extra time to pursue. I shopped around to cover my basis and met with a few other attorneys. I had recalled I researched Frank a few years back and he had exceptional reviews a few years back.I was curious if he still sustained the same level of high satisfaction among his customers and sure enough, he had maintained a very high rating. Albeit the cost of services was higher, I wanted to get it right and not venture especially establishing trusts that impacts loved ones. Therefore I contacted Frank via email, and he remembered me, was extremely helpful in setting up an appointment. I met him at his office in La Jolla, and sure enough, he was very engaging, patient and kind. The icing on the cake was that he was very practiced in the field and ameliorated many of my concerns (this was my first trust).Frank guided me through the process, told me what to expect and was notably helpful and delightful to work with. Frank Kallmeyer provided great assistance in helping me find qualified fiduciaries; I didn't know where to start.  That part was the most challenging aspect of  setting up my revocable trust.  It provided a real time saver for me as I had deadlines to make and out-of-state commitments.   Discussions with Frank helped me simplify things with respect to separating my niece's portion of beneficiary assets. We determined a special needs trust would protect her public benefits as long as she is disabled thus I was able to come up with a logical plan to split the estate between the main trust and the special needs trust.  Frank provided knowledgeable information throughout the process in a cost-effective, easygoing process which would have been otherwise daunting and time consuming.  He is an invaluable resource,  easy to work with yet detailed and thorough, and I am so happy I used his and Pacific Coast Trust's services. We met Frank for an hour in person (at the UTC office) to get the living trust process started and the rest of the details were done by email correspondence. This was helpful for my wife and I since we needed to discuss the details over a period of evenings and I was doing research on institutional trustees. Frank is very timely with email and made the process of collecting additional information as easy as it can be given the magnitude of the legal documents being put in place for the trust. After another 45 minute in-person meeting with Frank for notary and witness signatures, we had a living trust in hand. My husband and I worked with Frank at Pacific Coast Trust to set up our trust. Along with purchasing life insurance and updating our will, it was part of our "be responsible adults and be sure we are protecting our family" checklist. The fact that the two of us needed to take hours off work & drive to someone's office several times to get our trust & will done made us postpone and postpone. ..  and postpone this important action.  Then a coworker referred us to Frank Kallmeyer, who was willing to meet with us in his office during the WEEKEND (he is very flexible with his time & location to accomodate his clients).  He was also  easy to talk to and patient (which is good, since I had a LOT of questions).  Though I don't have any other experiences to compare this to, I'd say Mr.Kallmeyer made the whole process as painless as it can get. Are you looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, professional to help you establish or update your same sex marital trust? Look no further than Frank K at Pacific Coast Trust.   From the very first contact through the delivery of our trust, my wife and I were impressed with the personalized and thorough attention we received from Frank. Given our hectic schedules and mobility issues, early evening in-home appointments were perfect for us.In our first meeting with Frank at our home, he covered the services he provides, explaining each document in detail. His presentation was concise and he fielded all of our questions patiently.  He was respectful of our privacy and trustworthy. We decided that evening to hire Frank to draw up our trust for a nominal fee.Over the course of the next few weeks, we exchanged a number of emails to finalize beneficiaries and assets to include in the trust.  It could have taken less time however I was out of town for awhile. In all of our communications, Frank was prompt and thorough. Even when he answered the same question from us multiple times, he remained patient and professional.Our second and last meeting with Frank, again at our home, we were provided with a hard copy of our trust and all other relevant documents.  Frank stepped through each document and we signed and had everything witnessed and notarized right then.  After roughly 45 minutes, the process of drawing up our trust was complete.The final step to establishing a trust is to fund it and update beneficiaries to reflect the name of the trust on our assets. I had a great experience with PCT.  Everything during the Trust making process was done professionally and was made rather easy.  For both of our meetings Frank came to my home (nice not to have to drive around) and worked with my schedule.  I did a bit of shopping around to various firms and found PCT to be the best price.  It is definitely worth spending the money now and having a trust made than going into probate, and I can't recommend PCT any more. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. Frank was awesome! Super friendly and explained the whole thing. Took the time to make sure he answered my questions and never made me feel like my questions were wasting his time. The whole process took about two weeks, it likely would have been shorter had I responded more quickly. The best part was that they offer to come to your home to make it convenient. I initially decided to contact Frank at Pacific Coast Trust because of these great reviews.  I initially contacted him for my mother (while scoping him out for myself as well).  He ended up advising me that my mother's needs didn't need his services due to the size of her estate and proceeded to tell me the rules and how to take care of her simply.  He proved that all the reviews that espoused him as honest and really helpful were dead on.  I then proceeded to have him take care of my estate planning and am glad I did.  Frank really took the time to make sure my wife and I got it right and that we fully understood what we were undertaking.I simply can't say enough good things about Frank and Pacific Coast Trust.  I will definitely be recommending him to my friends and family. Five stars truly isn't enough, this one goes up to 11. Mr. Kallmeyer went above and beyond for my family. To say that my mother-in-law left her estate planning to the last minute is an understatement. We called Pacific Coast Trust because I saw on their website that they did in home consultation. Mr. Kallmeyer came to my mother-in-law's death bed in the hospital so we could fill out the initial paperwork for her estate. He was able to deliver the final paperwork, again to her deathbed in the hospital, for her to sign in less time than the week and a half that he said he could promise which was all that enabled her to get her affairs in order before she died. Mr. Kallmeyer is the fourth estate lawyer that my family has used over the years and members and even with the rush fees he was the cheapest, quickest, and (most importantly) most affable. My elderly neighbor asked for some help setting up a living trust last month. I contacted Pacific Coast Trust after reading their Yelp reviews. Frank came out and helped us every step of the way. Frank promptly followed up with our every correspondence, answered every question, and was organized throughout the process. He's very competent in what he does and the total price is extremely competitive.
