Kuuipo Picnics Hawaii

I ordered an arch for my wedding and specified everything, sent photos of the arch I want. I got confirmation that all my wishes would be realized. On the wedding day instead of a beautiful arch with live Hawaiian flowers I got an ugly arch with artificial flowers that cost me 750$. BEWARE! I saw so many 5 star reviews that I trusted I would receive a quality, luxury picnic worthy of the reviews I saw and the money I paid. This was to be the wedding rehearsal dinner for 30 for my son and his fiance, to include their wedding party, parents, and close friends of bride and groom. I paid an exorbitant amount of money! Over 4000 dollars and received food that looked like it came straight from Safeway deli and maybe Trader Joes, and not even what was promised (no nuts, fresh tropical fruits, luxury spread etc.). The food was mostly crackers, bread rolls, cheese cubes, salami, grapes and blueberries. I was assured through countless emails confirming what would be there, enough food for 30 hungry people including many big hungy guys, did not get even enough appetizers for 15 people. Was promised a tray of garlic shrimp that never showed up- when I asked she said she went home instead of getting it. Also the set up was not in any way luxury as advertised. No fresh flowers as promised, no themed blankets- just old beach towels and ragged rugs. 9 pillows for 30 people and crammed in around a very small space people could not even sit comfortably around. Also I was promised a tent and 10 bottles of white wine. No tent, no refund, 5 bottles of cheap wine only one white and not even chilled. We had to go out and purchase ice and hamburgers to feed every one. I was extremely embarrassed and devastated at the amateur presentation and lack of promised food. The bride's parents were uncomfortable and visibly distressed. I had to scramble to figure out how to accommodate everyone and feed them. The guests were scrambling as well to help, bless them and their understanding. On top of everything else, she texted me right before the event was to start, that she needed another half hour to set up. I had to try to get ahold of 30 people to delay their arrival! When I tried to discuss with her at the end about my concerns and wanting a substantial refund, she did not even respond. I texted, and emailed, and no response. In retrospect I should have given that same amount of money to Turtle Bay Resort for the rehearsal, they would have charged the same and been absolutely professional and followed through with all they said. I will say the beach was beautiful and the firedancers I had gotten were fabulous. The gals in our group agreed we could have set this up ourselves for only a couple of hundred dollars, and have a lovely picnic at this spot. More...

From planning to execution… everything was simply exceptional. Hope listened to all our family needs and requirements and set up a picnic for us that we will remember always! Highly recommend this for making lifelong memories with the people you love. More...
