What’s your interior design process?
I start the interior design process by viewing the space. I then get to know the client and what they’re looking for. In order to create a design I will need the floor plan with measurements, inspirational photos, and photos of the space. This will allow me to start the design. I will go back and forth with the client until we come up with a visual mood board for the space.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
My design process is about my client. I research the background and culture of the style that they like. So I can cater to any interior design style.
What do you love most about your job?
I find that a good interior designer is someone who can listen to information and create something out of it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I always wanted to be an entrepeneur when I grew up and I loved solving creative problems.

I am able to provide services online. In this type of service the client will need to take measurements and images of the space.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I try to limit the amount of in person visits. I may ship samples to the clients home and do Zoom meetings.
Residential Design
During our initial meeting, we will discuss your expectations and goals for the project. I will create a floor plan so I can measure how the furniture will fit. After that, we will select colors, fabrics, and materials. And at the end of the meeting, you will have a visual mood board that articulates a clear direction for your space.
Erica Design Room also assists with shopping and purchasing furniture and materials. Purchases will be made through Erica Design Room and all warranties, returns, and exchanges will be based on the company policy.
Commercial Design
I will need the existing floor plan of the space. If you are not able to get the floor plan I will charge additional to take measurements of the space.
