We highly recommend Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum! Every aspect of each self-guided tour was well thought out with so much information for people to read and learn about the history of each ship. There were several times that we got hands-on experience with certain areas of the Laffey. At the end of the tour of both ships, we enjoyed the Vietnam Experience Exhibit and learned so much about those who were there during the war. It was nice to be able to experience each displayed helicopter and vehicle and to see what it was like for the soldiers to live, eat and breathe during that time in history. It was an all around excellent experience!!! Well worth the money and time. Expect to spend a good 4 hours there at a minimum. More...
