Edgardo was the DJ for my wedding. He also handled annoucements during the reception. Our wedding was slightly complicated, in that our DJ had to provide audio services for our ceremony at one location, then provide services at another location for the reception. Edgardo kept to the schedule and was highly approachable throughout the process. He provided the exact music/songs we requested. He always returned our phone calls/voicemails in a timely manner. He ran into some issues at our reception venue (reception AV system issues, not on DJ), but was able to troubleshoot on the spot, and thus was able to provide karaoke services to my wedding guests. Crystal Note DJ did an amazing job with our wedding! They offered us so many services besides providing great music - photobooth, monogram, fog machine, cold sparkler machines, and uplighting! I had met Edgardo at a LA Bridal Expo. I liked that he offered multiple services - any time I can get a lot of things from one spot the easier it made my wedding planning. He also mentioned that he and his time did this as their weekend jobs, they were FT teachers; as a former pre-k teacher I understood the need for two incomes! We booked them for MC services (we couldn't have a DJ setup at our venue,) a wedding arch and a 4 hr photo booth. Their music app was easy to use, we were able to set up all the different playlists and leave info such as party names, what times music should start, etc. Leo did a great job! Our photo booth attendant was very friendly (I sadly didn't catch his name) and our guests had a lot of fun. We're waiting to get our digital prints back, should be this week hopefully (our event was 11/5.) We did have to text him a couple times when we sent an email if it didn't get a reply within a few days, but he was very responsive via text. (I personally don't like to discuss a lot of details via text because I will forget it and it's easier to go back to email. That's a personal choice for me.) I met Edgardo at a Bridal Expo and liked the packages that his team offered. They covered a variety of services at a price that was reasonable and within our budget. We hired them for MC/DJ services (we could not have a traditional DJ setup at our venue,) a 4 hour photo booth setup, and for a ceremony arch. Leo was an excellent MC who kept the night moving and worked well with our team. Our photo booth team member was very kind and friendly as well (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name!) I was really hopeful about hiring crystal note but honestly I wish we would’ve hired someone else.

1. Wrong aisle song
2. Wrong first dance song
3. Used wrong name for introduction of married couple
4. Misspelled my name on the Photo Booth pictures

6. Never gave us a copy of the Photo Booth pictures

The best decision we made for our wedding was to hire Crystal Note! Everyone loved the music selection and danced till the very end. Edgar and his crew were amazing, they set up everything on time and were ready to roll when the party started. Communication was easy and efficient, Edgar was on top of things and made sure that all the components that were important to us were there that day. I hired Crystal Note based on the good reviews. Maybe they do well in the DJ part of weddings and parties but as for their photo booth it was a disappointment. We hired them for our backyard wedding
Edgardo was responsive and friendly and the prices were fair.
As soon as the day came, they came early to set the booth up which I appreciated. As we got closer to 6pm where the guests would start using it, no attendant was around to help out. I also never saw any props for us to use.
A guy finally came and couldn’t get it working. When he finally did, the photos that came out were dark and the top was cut off ( I had bought this custom neon sign that said our last name specifically for the photo booth)
It ended up breaking again and the guy was on the phone with somebody. In the end, I didn’t get one photo with anyone and neither did a lot of our guests. Before I was able to talk to the man that was there everyone told me he had left. It was extremely disappointing and I wish I spent the extra couple hundred for a more reputable photo booth company.
I was given a full refund but we only had one special day with everyone and the memories of photos would have been nice. More...

I would recommend this company for your DJ & MC needs!

With wedding season suddenly kicking up again, it has been hectic for the wedding industry, so it was a bit difficult to get a quick response time with Edgardo via email (had to follow up a lot); HOWEVER, Edgardo has been nothing but kind, energetic, and great at communication when it came to over the phone and in person. Seeing him at work at our wedding and talking to him showed me that he is a professional who knows what needs to be done with little direction. So for someone planning a wedding for the first time, this is what I needed.

Him and his MC were great at our wedding. His MC was full of life and they were both flexible and quick to adapt even with last minute schedule changes. The music was great and the uplifting touches were great as well.

Edgardo knew to bring a pop up screen rather than the TV monitors based on my venue and needs even without me asking.
