I've worked with Lance on several projects and have nothing but great things to say about his friendliness, professionalism, and ability to take direction and nail the script in a time efficient manner. His audio files are delivered in high quality and are easy to edit. Lance has a range of voices from children's related content to serious, professional corporate and educational explainer videos. I've used him for both ends of the spectrum and thoroughly enjoyed working with him on each project. Highly recommend! More...

What makes a great website?
Just like my voice overs, a great website always has the end user in mind.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the script length, both in words and expected time?
What is the medium and usage for the voice over?
Describe your creative process.
While I'm skilled at 'cold reads' I like to have the script before hand and research the topic/product and really understand the market and the target audience. Before doing a video for Porsche on the history of the 911 model, I studied several articles about it. One that was most helpful was the history of its advertising and marketing. This preparation helped greatly with my delivery of the more technical lines, and the client was impressed and asked if I knew anyone that worked for Porsche.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
The answers to the same questions about starting a new project, plus answers about the budget and deadlines. Most projects I can deliver same-day.
What do you love most about your job?
Working on different types of projects for different clients all around the world each day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I always wanted to be a voice over talent. But I started as an audio engineer in a large production company in Boston, MA called Cramer. With them I worked on everything from corporate video, nationally broadcast documentaries, to events and multimedia. It taught me so much about the production chain and post-production specifically. I was recording the scratch track voice overs and eventually clients asked to keep my scratch tracks as the keepers.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer quick turnaround and lasting results, and I love the challenge of taking direction and realizing the clients' vision.
