Throughout my tutoring experience, one highlight has definitely been teaching Geography, Maths and English classes in Shandong, China of ages 11 to 17 year olds. In my experience, I specialise in teaching English as a second language and I have a concise, patient and understanding approach to students of all ages and abilities.
My academics have been strong, and I have achieved a 2:1 in Economics and Human Geography accomplishing a 1st in my dissertation. I am competent at analysing topics, breaking them down and presenting topics in creative/engaging ways.
I build tailor-made lessons aimed at building students’ confidence and self-esteem as well as motivation towards personalised goals, whether it be class tests, SATs, GCSEs, A level or undergraduate-level subjects. Seeing students learn and grow in confidence gives me immense satisfaction and I really look forward to meeting you and helping you improve.
