I had the best experience working with Sugar & Slice Cakes!!! I live in LA and was looking for someone to make a custom dairy free cake for my Dad’s 70th Birthday near where they live. So I reached out to her after a google search and even with a tight deadline and an elaborate vision she was able to make all my dreams come true! She was so professional, friendly, caring and easy to work with. She totally got what I was looking for right away and made some wonderful suggestions too! I am so pleased with the end result and SO excited for my Dad to see it for his birthday tomorrow! I can't say enough good things or recommend Cathy at Sugar & Slice Cakes highly enough. As I live in the USA, Cathy worked with my sister in England to make our idea for my 'Hawaii Five-0' themed birthday cake come to life, complete with palm trees, tiki hut, edible sand, shells, flip flops, tons of beautiful flowers, and my personal favourite, the cute crab! The hours of work are apparent and very much appreciated. The intricate detail in all the handmade and hand-painted decorations is absolutely incredible. EVERYTHING was edible! Despite the amount of work that went into it, the price for my cake was VERY reasonable. Cathy totally surpassed ALL our expectations, was very friendly and easy to work with, and created a work of art that was amazing to look at as well as totally delicious! After much deliberation (so many choices!) we decided on a lemon sponge cake with raspberry ripple flavoured buttercream, which was a huge hit with all the party guests and extremely delicious! The tiki hut made it back to Colorado in one piece, but that's all that's left! Thank you so much, Cathy, for all your hard work and talent to create this cake and help to make my 50th birthday celebration even more memorable! I'm recommending you to everyone I know! More...

Catherine made a divine Thomas the Tank Engine themed rainbow cake for my son’s birthday. She put a huge amount of thought into making it special for him, including having a personalised sign made for the top of the cake. Cathy did an amazing job on my sister's birthday cake and she absolutely loved it. The cake was very spongey, chocolately and simply delicious, with the buttercream adding the perfect amount of moisture. As for the design, it was brilliant and just as discussed.
