About

Even though I'm new to Bark, I've been a full-time professional tutor in West London for over 25 years. I have recently relocated to Bedford and, in terms of in-person tuition, now mainly offer lessons to students in the Bedfordshire area. Since autumn 2021 I have also been offering online tuition using Zoom and virtual teaching software.

Services

Since 2004 I have taught the full AQA Philosophy A level course and the Easter Revision courses at Collingham.  In terms of key specification topics and special texts for A2, I have detailed prepared material on the following key areas:

Political Philosophy and J.S.Mill's On Liberty,

Moral Philosophy and Plato's Republic,

Epistemology and Descartes' Meditations,

Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil.

I have also acted as an examiner for the AQA board on their Psychology A2 specification and so I have experience of  preparing students for both the structured and essay-type questions at AS level and beyond.

I also teach the following subjects: Religious Studies (Edexcel and AQA boards) and Critical Thinking.

I have taught A Level Maths classes using the syllabuses for all of the main examination boards.

As an examiner for Edexcel I have experience of preparing students for the demands of the AS and A2 exams. 

Since 2004 I have taught  the Easter Revision courses at Collingham, an independent sixth form college in Kensington.
