I have worked as a singer since the age of 12, when I my singing teacher gave me the opportunuty to perform as a classical soloist at wedding ceremonies every weekend. It didn’t take me long to branch out into other styles too.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of singing at a wide range of occasions from small private parties to big formal dinners and many, many weddings!

We hired Polly to entertain a group of around 50 bereaved, lonely and isolated folk we invited to a Strawberry Tea held in our Church Hall to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee.
5 stars isn't enough to rate Polly, she is excellent, she has a beautiful voice and even dressed for the part! She sang for an hour non stop. She sang songs throughout the Queen's reign and even had our guests joining in, finishing with the National Anthem.
Having Polly actually put the 'icing on the cake' for those present, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day! Thank you Polly, so glad we found you!

What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy the variety that comes with being a freelance professional musician. No two venues, students or performances are ever the same. This motivates me to continue to develop my skills (20+ years after I completed my music degree) to offer the best possible experience to all clients.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Polly and all members of each of the bands she works with are fully vaccinated against Covid19 and take regular lateral flow tests.
We wear masks in line with current guidance until our performance begins. We provide our own hand sanitiser and can perform from behind a clear, perspex screen if requested by the client at the time of booking.

Wedding music
We offer a comprehensive selection of live music options for your wedding day and have full public liability insurance for your complete peace of mind.
All venue and budget sizes catered for.
Wedding Ceremony:
Your chosen special song/s performed by Polly during your ceremony with either professional quality backing tracks or with live piano, guitar or band accompaniment.
(With over 30 years experience, Polly can sing the songs of your choice or advise on suitable songs and music for your religious or civil ceremony).
Wedding Breakfast / Drinks Reception:
While your guests mingle or while photographs are taken, we will create a welcoming, elegant atmosphere with a carefully chosen mixture of jazz and easy listening songs and instrumentals, influenced by your own musical preferences. Options include Polly singing live to professional quality backing tracks or you can upgrade to four piece Jazz band, Berkeley Square (Polly plus piano, saxophone, double bass).
Evening Reception:
We offer live, 5, 6 or 7 piece rock and pop covers bands including The Jukes (hits from every decade); RockIt (you choose the decade) or Rock Of Ages (classic rock from the 1960s to the 1990s).
This is your chance to customise your wedding band! Tell us what sort of music you love and we will make sure you have the wedding reception party of your dreams. Our highly experienced, musicians have played alongside some of the biggest names in rock and pop and can play practically anything! (Please make any special song requests at there time of booking).
Jazz Band
Four (or more) piece jazz band, Berkeley Square, will play a selection of smooth and uptempo jazz standards, blues, torch songs and hits from the Great American Songbooks for any party or function.

Care homes
Since first training as a singer, aged 12, I have enjoyed giving frequent performances at care homes.
Whether your residents are young retired people; older adults; have memory difficulties or are a mix of ages with specific health concerns or sensory sensitivities, I can adapt my performance to make it suitable for your setting.
I have been fortunate to receive many repeat bookings to residential homes and the feedback has been that this is because I am sensitive to the needs of residents.
