On behalf of my daughter, thank you Nigel for making the tutoring something my daughter looks forward to. It`s not her strongest subject yet i know with your help and guidance it will be.
Always kept up to date with progress and availability.
Wouldn`t hesitate in recommending.

My daughter is in the last 6 weeks of her exams and just needed an extra push with her maths she`s a very quiet and shy girl and she doesn`t take to new people very easily but she took to Nigel very easily he`s very understanding very patient willing to sit there and listen and explain and my daughter actually enjoys the hours lesson I would highly recommend Nigel my daughter even says that she is gaining from it and he brings in loads of tools to help her with a maths he is always on time I made a brilliant decision with taking on Nigel and it`s paying off so thank you very much.

Charlie deserves all the credit for her leap from grade 2 to grade 4 in that short space of time. I'm absolutely delighted for her!

Nigel has been excellent working with my Year 11 son to prepare for his GCSE maths exam. His method has suited my son and I have seen his confidence grow with Nigel`s subtle encouragement. Would highly recommend

I cannot explain how lucky I feel to have found Nigel to tutor my Yr10 home schooled son through his GCSE`s. His knowledge, expertise and professionalism is brilliant. He has a lovely calm approach to learning/tutoring which in return delivers excellent results. He spends time away from the lessons preparing for the session so that he can teach what is needed to keep in line with the curriculum. My son thoroughly enjoys his sessions with Nigel and I can only highly recommend him. More...
KS3, GCSE, A Level, Adult
In years 7-9 my students who need regular help and a confidence boost have the reassurance that anything they struggle with in class they can crack with me outside the lesson, which massively reduces stress.
At Keystage 4 I tutor GCSE students throughout years 10 & 11, and students who only want extra help in the run up to exams. I have also helped students who are retaking Maths GCSE to pass at the second attempt
In addition I have tutored adults who are looking to pass GCSE Maths in order to get into university or fulfil the qualification requirements of a new job
I have taught or tutored A level Religious Studies from four different exam boards, namely AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas (WJEC) and OCR, and am tutoring three students at the moment.
Lastly I am available to teach home schooled students during daytime hours
Functional Skills Maths
Having taught this course up to Level 3, I know exactly what is required and how it differs from GCSE. I have marked many L1 exam papers and coached students to success in levels 1,2 and 3.
