What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Taking time to know the clients requirements is vital. No two jobs are the same, so to ensure every customer is happy with my service I always get in contact to get a precise brief of what they are looking for.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Expected time I would need at a particular job, delivery of final product (for example albums, digital files etc), deadlines to meet.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the diversity of my job. One day I can be photographing a bride in a stunning country house, the next I can be photographing a renovated property which is due to go on the market.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in the public sector for nearly 20 years and during this time I steadily built up my client base and business on a part time basis. It got to the point where I became too busy with my own business I decided to take the leap and go full time, and haven't looked back since.
