About

I provide a highly personalised and flexible tutoring service for students from 7-18 years old, primarily in English and Humanities, but also primary level Maths. I have had over 10 years experience as a fully qualified English and Humanities teacher in mainstream secondary; also within the SEN sector. My approach is to cater to the needs of each individual learner and work on the best ways to support them and reach their personal goals within the circumstances.

My specialist training in SEN, EAL and within mainstream, means I am familiar with current curriculum expectations but have insights in to how best to make these work for each individual learner. My approach is one of enthusiasm and a love of my subject: English and Humanities. In doing so, I have tutored a wide variety of students from small groups of homeschoolers, to A-Level, and university entry students - the variety of these tutoring experiences means that I am versatile to the needs of each student.
