What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
- Self explanatory and narrative, either as a self contained image or as a series
- Simplicity is key; good design is invisible
- Relate to the context for which it is being used; subject matter, colour, monochrome, composition, detail, dimensions and format
- Everything in the frame is there for a reason, including negative space and background
- Providing comfort to the model or subject by conversing and allowing self-expression during or in between photographing whilst reassuring and guiding throughout the shoot.
