I found her by accident took my boy who desperately needed his nails doing and good bath shave she smartened him up he loved being there. After seeing the beautiful grounds and meeting Sam, who filled me with confidence 2 bring my nightmare German Shepard for her first ever time at the groomer. We worked out what would be best for my dog not to stress her out. It wasn’t easy she didn’t want 2 go in the bath but with lots of love and encouragement she’s been brushed bathed got rid of so much hair she smells gorgeous feels lovely and she must feel a million times better. Sam transformed our working cocker spaniel from a wild, matted mess to a blonde bombshell! This was her second visit to Country Barn Dog Grooming but Bonnie was still a little nervous. Sam was excellent with her, reassuring her and making her feel comfortable. Sam worked really hard hand stripping the majority of her coat and then scissored her legs and tail. I took my rescue Cocker Spaniel to see Sam, having spoken to other groomers who would only offer me full packages, Sam was willing to just see how we got on, and make sure if nothing else, he had an enjoyable experience, which he most certainly did! I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

I highly recommend Sam for being absolutely brilliant with my two new very nervous rescue dogs from Gran Canaria and only been with us since last Wednesday so still finding their bearings. Sam’s patience and calm caring way with them both was lovely, and they obviously sensed her kind manner with them and surprised Sam and myself that they allowed her to cut out their matted fur and give them a lovely wash and a little spritz of furby perfume. It was a bit of a trial run and Sam got a good soaking but it was so worth it and will be regular visitors and hoping their confidence with grow over time so that Sam can give them a good clip. And they may even realise what a doggy treat is by next visit. More...

Sam did an amazing job on my Working Cocker Spaniel! I’ve been very reluctant to take her to a groomers as I wanted to keep her looking natural and not a show dog! Sam agreed completely and listened to what I was asking for, by the time Bonnie was finished she had no matts, all her fluff had been stripped out, she smelt amazing but still looked like a Working Cocker (if that’s possible without all the mud!)
