His page looked great and had plenty of experience and many great reviews online. From the moment we contacted Chris he was quick to respond, listened to our ideas & plans for the day and was very helpful. On the day Chris was professional, but also friendly and relaxed. Chris was very amenable from the start. We booked Chris during lockdown and from our first chat via email to the wedding day Chris delivered everything and more than we expected. We met him once before the big day to look around the venue. He had some ideas but was willing to listen and take on board what we wanted too. We only wanted 20 staged photos and left the rest for Chris to take as he wanted. We ended up with 667 photos telling a story of our wedding day from the beginning to our first dance. I’m a journalist and was recommended to Chris’s work by a colleague who was familiar with his stuff. I actually needed someone to take pictures at our wedding but I wanted a less formal approach and being a journo I also wanted to put work to a fellow ‘news bod’. From the first contact, I knew we had made the right move in getting Chris on board. He was easy to communicate with, knew what we were looking for and after our first meeting with him we knew that he was right for what we wanted. On the day of our wedding he couldn’t do enough for us in terms of making people relaxed for the photos and he certainly captured the essence of our special day. Chris was very professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Chris did our wedding last year, and we were thrilled by the results, literally hundreds of pictures showcasing our day. Not only did he capture candid moments with our friends and family but the staged photographs showed a different aspect than the traditional photographs you might expect. His work ethic was amazing, and was so unintrusive throughout the entire day. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. We barely knew he was there from the moment he arrived and he spent the whole day capturing amazing moments between us and our guests that have been wonderful to look back on and remember once the whirlwind had died down!
Lots of people commented on how great he was on the day - being completely calm and patiently directing people to get the best posed shots. His pictures really sum up the day as a whole, capturing the fun and emotion, and we were given such a huge selection of fantastic pictures it has been impossible so far to pick out our favourites as we love them all.

Having previously worked with Chris on a professional basis, I already knew just how talented a photographer he was. He was our first and only choice for our wedding. Chris’ photographs really capture the raw emotions, reactions and feelings of the day.
