Do you find that you are often feeling overwhelmed by emotions, or feel anxious about getting through your day? Do you find that you are feeling agitated or angry, stressed, but you’re not totally sure why? When your frustration or anger gets triggered, do you have a hard time stopping yourself from lashing out at others? Or do you push down the things you want to say to everyone around you for fear of pushing everyone around you away? Perhaps you are experiencing grief or sadness through loss, or change of your life and work situations? Are you feeling unfulfilled and you know that something is feeling “off” but you are not sure what it is you want to change or do differently? Do you distract yourself by working all the time, or find you need to have a couple of glasses of wine, beer, or other substances just to get through the day? I have struggled with some of these same feelings and know what it is like to try to come to terms with it all. It might mean having to uncover things hidden beneath the surface, sift and sort through what is at the root of it all, and begin to share your past story and find meaning through the courageous process of healing. My hope for you is that you will eventually find yourself in that story-telling, and begin to create a future that you shape for yourself. I am committed to walking with you through healing process, encouraging you to be courageous enough to sort through your pain, fears, anger, and help you find new ways of being, and to help you shape your future into what you have always dreamed. Note: Online services are available if it suits your situation better
I am passionate about helping people find healing, come to a place of wellness where they can live more authentic lives, discover their strengths and resources, and make meaning from their lived experiences.
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and have had the experience of owning other businesses as well as founding an arts based charity (www.artwithaheart.ca).
I am deeply compassionate about mental health and wellness, about people being able to share their stories in a safe environment, and journey together to help them discover how to live their lives more fully and more authentically.
I offer remote Psychotherapy, telephone therapy, in-person therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, and corporate workshops.
If we are meeting in person I have stringent protocols in place including pre-screens, contact tracing, masks, shields, table top shields, and disinfecting between clients. I also allow for people to change to online sessions if they are symptomatic or have been exposed to COVID.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I went to see Calvin for relationship work, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. From the very first session, Calvin created a safe, non-judgmental space where both of us felt truly heard. He helped us break through years of miscommunication, old patterns, and emotional blocks and guided us back to a place of connection, understanding, and genuine love. His approach is deeply intuitive, compassionate, and practical. We didn’t just talk, we healed. We’re leaving this experience stronger, more aligned, and with tools we’ll carry for life. Highly recommend Calvin to any couple ready to do the real inner work and transform their relationship from the inside out.

How much do Therapists cost?
This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the therapist holds.
This will depend on where you live, what level of training your therapist has and what they specialise in (whether they are a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist) and also how many years of working experience they have.
Your professional therapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted therapist today.
How do I find the right Therapist?
You need to devote some time to finding the right therapist as the connection you have with your therapist is essential. You need someone who you can trust, someone you feel comfortable talking to about difficult subjects and intimate secrets, someone who will be a partner in your recovery. Therapy will not be effective unless you have this bond, so take some time in the beginning to find the right person.
It is worth talking to a few potential therapists and asking questions. Therapists also have special areas of focus, such as depression or eating disorders. For some issues, such as trauma or PTSD, seeing a specialist is absolutely essential.
How many sessions of Therapy will I need?
Everyone’s treatment is different. How long your therapy lasts depends on many factors.
You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.
It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your trusted Bark therapist.
What should I look for in a Therapist?
Professional counsellor training takes three to five years and can be a diploma or degree level. Qualification requires a minimum number of client hours acquired through a work placement.
You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their therapy.
What are the benefits of Therapy?
Therapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Or it can help with an upsetting physical health condition such as infertility, a difficult life event such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown. It can also be used to tackle difficult emotions such as low self-esteem, anger or sexual identity issues. Therapists also offer couples therapy. Therapists can also help with anxiety issues deriving from the coronavirus.
Can I get a Therapist online?
Absolutely! Many therapists offer sessions over the phone or through an online video chat platform, so you can have a session from the comfort of your own home - all you need is a strong internet connection and you're good to go.
