Yum Yum Catering and Events is a boutique catering company based in Brooklyn, NY. We offer private chef services, full-service catering, private instruction (in-person or via ZOOM) and event consultation. All of our chefs are classically trained with 3 and 4 star NYC restaurant experience.

What’s your signature dish?
Our "sweet spot" is New American cuisine with a focus on locally sourced fresh ingredients. As a full-service caterer and private chef company we can prepare just about ANYTHING your heart desires.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
For each client we customize your menu based on your needs. This means we like to have a quick 10 minute call to assess your event and take into consideration your likes, dislikes, any dietary preferences, etc BEFORE building out your menu options and estimate.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and preparing amazing food. I love when our clients say that they felt like a "guest in their own home".
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've wanted to be a chef since the second grade! After a career in Finance followed by Advertising, I finally followed my dreams and went to culinary school. I've never looked back and can say after 17 years that I STILL love what I do!

Yes, we do online classes and events via ZOOM. In the past we've done happy hours, cooking instruction, birthday parties and more.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We follow all state and CDC guidelines. All of our staff are vaccinated and boosted and we are happy to provide negative tests upon request.
Private Chef Services
Includes menu development, food prep, service and clean-up.
Full Service Catering
Includes menu development, service, bar, ice delivery, florals, specialty cakes, project coordination. Max 200 guests.
Private Instruction
We offer individual and group cooking lessons both online (via ZOOM) or in-person.
May include customized lesson plans, shopping, pre-prep, hands-on or demo-only instruction, digital copies of recipes, service and clean-up
From 1-12 students. Choose from packages of 1, 3, 6 or 10 lessons.
Media Consultation and Development
May include menu consulting, recipe development, recipe testing, food styling, broadcast and digital production services.
We have produced segments for several media outlets including The Today Show, Good Morning America, FOOD Network/Cooking Channel to name a few.
