It's really a great pleasure for me to write a review of my experience with Charli. He was recommended to me as a possible backup walker and sitter for my two dogs. I'm a creature of habit and have only had one person consistently work with my boys so I was very ambivalent in the beginning. Charli came by for a 'meet and greet' and within about 5 seconds I was immediately put at ease. He exudes kindness and the kind of confidence that comes with having real experience. My boys went to him like a long lost friend. Within the week that Charli was here, some walking issues were addressed and incredibly helpful modifications were made. What do you love most about your job?
I've been doing pet care since the age of 12. What I love about my job, and the reason I started this business, is spending time with, loving, and caring for dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business came from a mix of my desire for more autonomy and control over my time, as well as the drive spend my time doing something I love while helping others.
Why should our clients choose you?
Pet owners should choose The Love of Dogs because nobody loves dogs more than we do. I have been passionately supporting pet owners and providing top quality care for over fifteen years. I am an expert and take the time and effort required to get to know each pet I care for, love them the way they want and need to be loved, and build a trusting and strong relationship with them and their owners to be sure our furry friends are always happy, healthy, and comfortable. I also tailor my services to the needs of each pet. No two pets are the same, and their care should not be cookie-cutter!
Dog Walking
If your pet needs to be taken out for some exercise during the day, a walk is for you!
Each walk includes:
-Pickup from your home within a 2-hour pickup window
-A brisk, exercise-focused walk around your neighborhood
-A few moments to stop and smell the roses and take a potty break
-Practicing any necessary training around leashed walks
-Return to your home and refresh your dog's water as needed
Benefits of Walking:
-Ensures your dog gets the exercise they need to maintain a healthy body
-Helps mitigate problem behaviors at home (your dog will behave better if they don't have the energy to act up!)
-Provides physical and mental stimulation to keep your dog happy
Home Visits
Home Visits Include:
-Feeding
-Refreshing water
-Medication Administration (as needed)
-Play time & engagement
-Home care (as requested)
-Watering Plants
-Bringing in the mail
-Adjusting lights

Daycare
Daycare Includes:
-Regular Potty Breaks
-A comfortable, temperature-controlled environment for your dog to relax and play in
-The company of our dogs, Big Mac and Rosy, and any other visitors we have that day
-Access to toys, and supervised play time
-A private patio for fresh air and sunbathing
-Seasonal activities, special treats, and occasional gifts!
*Daycare and Boarding Services are for small-medium, senior, special-needs & low-energy dogs only.
Boarding
Boarding Includes:
-Everything included in Daycare
-Feeding
-Medication Administration
-Comfy sleeping arrangements
-One family of pups at a time, unless previously approved by both owners*

The Total Love and Care (TLC) Package
The TLC Package is a luxury service for those who want expert care management for their pets.
This service includes:
-Regular evaluations of your dog's needs to assess which services should be booked
-Collaboration with your current service providers to ensure your dog is always able to get the recommended care
-Appointment scheduling
-Transportation to and from appointments
-Document management and reporting on your dog's health and needs
-Proactive communication to maintain alignment between the services provided, and the expectations of the owner
-Flexibility to work within various budgets
