1.Disinfecting the Car: Before the start of every trip, you should be disinfecting your car thoroughly. Especially, the areas of the car which come in contact with you and the passenger.
2.Wear Gloves and Mask: Covering the face may prevent the virus from being transferred. Also, wear gloves all the time when you are with the passenger.
3.Avoid Contact: Keeping a safe distance can prevent the transfer of the virus. So, ask the passenger to sit on the back seat rather than the front one. It is best that passengers should handle the bags himself/herself but if he/she insists then sanitize the handles before touching their bags. You should yourselves be opening the trunk in case the passenger is handling the bags.
4.Avoid offering Items: Avoid offering items such as water bottles, candies, or magazines to the passenger.
5.Air Re-circulation: Keep the re-circulation of the car OFF and allow fresh air to come in through the vents.
6.Sneeze Guard: Make sure you have the Passenger/driver divider (Sneeze-guard in place). You can remove this if the passenger is not comfortable with that. Please inform us If you have already installed in your fleet.
7.Necessary Sanitary Accessories: Make sure you have with you all the sanitizing and cleaning supplies, masks, gloves, and a few extra disposable masks for the passengers if requested.
